Recently a friend of mine hit a capon via e-mail to have so abandoned the blog and sent me a video of kinetic sculpture. The truth is that I was amazed to see him. Beautiful sculptures with moving large bursts of air on a beach. They looked like giant insects or dinosaurs, skeletons animals, reminiscent of a human being, moving legs, etc..
Alexander Calder was the sole or almost the only author who had a mobile sculpture. I remember perfectly the first time I saw one of his works, I do not remember where it was. A mix of great art toy, something between the child and the pure essence of art and I thought this author must have a lot of fun doing their job. Theo Jansen is a Dutch author who creates nature using plastic. One of the phrases that the author says in the announcement of BMW aptly describes his work: The border between art and engineering is only in our minds.
Tim Fort kinetic is another author who used to work with dominoes which includes some foreign elements that complicate or make it more fun to travel.
